Finally, UBC had cancelled those boring slides intervened during its programs, especially from int'l feeds. There have been attempts years before, but some consumers thought the cable company would benefit from those ads and thus considered it not fair cause they're already paying the cable fees, so they complained to the officials, MCOT, to have those ads banned--wow, what an attitude! I felt pity for the company (and their employees) to have to spend manpower on putting those slides on every single commercial break on every channel.
