Yeah! Finally I've gained those 225 hours of flight experience required to graduate the flying school. While waiting for the rest of the class to finish theirs, I've already signed the leave form for the next 2 weeks, however still wondering what to do. One thought is to drive further to the south of Thailand for some nice beaches, will see if that could happen.

I'm gonna get back home late this afternoon (still having hang-over from last night's party at the brew house). Guess will be back to Hua Hin on Monday. There are some paperworks (log book/grad forms/license application) left to do.

The morning brief is back!

A new rule is in effect which requires everybody to report in at 7.45am. Flights can only be flown during official working hours which are 8am-12pm, 1-4pm, and 6-9pm (was: anytime between 6.30am to 8.30pm). This sucks. How can we graduate in time?

I got up at 7 and now I just have nothing to do, can't go back to bed either.. :-(

I've been reading Metroblogging Bangkok for a while. Indeed a good blog written by a group of people. They talk mostly about what's going on in the city of angels. What I don't like about this blog is the authors usually express their thoughts which sometimes sound ironic, well, to me as a Thai.

Anyway, I think it's worth reading and it's already become one of My Favourites site.

Ok, let's summarize my remaining flying hours.

DGH43 (1:30)
DXC14N (3:00)
SGH27 (1:30)
SGH28 (2:00)
SXC21 (3:00)
SXC22 (3:00)

Total: 14 hours. Shouldn't be too hard to complete those by the end of next week.

I don't wanna do what people expect me to do anymore.

I'm so tired. :-(

I just realized those colorful wristbands are so popular that people wear them just to be in trend rather than what they're really made for. They're so popular that they cause the price to go up real high, not to mention fake or "unofficial" ones.

Yesterday I went to Siam Square and found LIVESTRONG wristbands sold at 200 baht, and Nike's black-and-white wristbands sold at 1200 baht. That's crazy. Lance Armstrong's yellow wristband is only $1 when bought through their website. The black&white is 1.5 pounds bought at Nike's store. (In case you don't know: yellow "LIVESTRONG" bands belong to Lance Armstrong Foundation, an organization to support people with cancer. Nike's b&w "STANDUP-SPEAKUP" bands are meant to show your support to anti racism.)

Come on, people! If you want to make merit, do it the right way. Chances are when you bought those bands from unofficial places, not only they're fake ones but also your money won't be donated to proper organization.

Already back to Hua Hin. Pit gave me a lift. In these times when fuel price goes really high, car pool seems to be a very reasonable solution.

Saturday night at Escudo. They focus on hip-hop music. Very crowded place with many good-looking chics!! Highly recommended.

QFT11

Yeah! Qualifying Final Test was one of my best flight I've flown lately (well in the last few months). That's a good thing cause I didn't get too many complaints from the checker. *Very happy*

I just got back from a 4-hour round-trip flight to Phitsanulok. Sitting in cockpit for 4 hours almost killed me. (Flight time from Hua Hin to Phitsanulok is about 2 hours but my IP decided not to land at Phitsanulok, that makes it 4 hours.) Flying cross-country IFR makes me feel real close to being a real airline pilot. Great.

Now need some sleep before driving to Bangkok. P'Boat and Ae will share my ride too.

We did have a big party last night at Spin. Pretty wasted. Oh and before the party I went for pre-flight briefing for my final flight test. It went well. Test is on Thursday morning.

Happy birthday to Jon, my roommate and best friend.

Tomorrow's gonna be the last day of final exam. Of course a real big party is coming.
