On today's Post Today front page: 12 car dealers namely Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Chevrolet, Daimler, Yontrakit, Tripetch Isuzu, Ford, Mitsubishi, Volvo, and BMW have signed a contract with a government agency that guarantees replacement/refund of defected cars (within warranty period). This happens after a customer of Honda CRV smashed her car a month ago because she's not happy with it. This is a good news/breakthrough in Thailand's car market. Since forever consumers have very limited power in claiming defected cars. Replacement or refund was almost impossible.
I guess I'll bring my car in to claim about the shaking soon. :-)
