Stupid mistake

On the plane this evening:

me: "Starting engine.. turn on radio master switch.. contacting ground.. err..."
--me looking for the microphone, and it wasn't there!--
me: ".............."
IP: "Go out and get one from another plane."
--me trying to open door handle, and of course I couldn't--
me: ".............." -_-"

My IP had to open his door and got out to get a microphone. He came back with a microphone and an unhappy look on his face! Hurr.. Stupid mistake again. Luckily the flight was okay so I didn't get kicked.
